The CLSU Bithay Sining Dance Company and Rondalla, under the supervision of the Cultural Affairs Office of Central Luzon State University, proudly represent the university at the 43rd National Folk Dance Workshop & PANUHID: A National Dance Research Forum, taking place from June 1 to 7, 2025, at the South Cotabato Gymnasium and Cultural Center, Alunan Avenue, Koronadal City, South Cotabato.
This prestigious 6-day cultural event gathers artists, researchers, educators, and cultural workers from across the Philippines to deepen their understanding and appreciation of Philippine folk dance and music. The program features intensive dance training sessions, panel discussions, lecture-demonstrations, academic forums, cultural shows, regional showcases, a city tour, and a grand culminating performance featuring all participating delegates.
As a testament to their artistic excellence and musical integrity, the CLSU Bithay Sining Rondalla serves as the official music provider of the entire workshop, providing live accompaniment throughout the event. This marks a significant opportunity not only for performance but also for cultural exchange and artistic collaboration at the national level.
Participation in this event strengthens CLSUโs commitment to cultural preservation, artistic innovation, and active engagement in national discourse on folk traditions and research. The Cultural Affairs Office extends its support and commendation to the Bithay Sining performers and musicians for their continued dedication to promoting Filipino culture and artistry.
